Pip, a Seeker raised by one of the forest’s finest trackers, has ventured beyond the safety of his community to investigate a frightening encounter experienced by his adventurous little brother, who returned from deep within the woods terrified and speaking of a giant tree whose eyes could see into his soul. Armed with the tracking, foraging, and survival skills taught to him growing up. Carrying the worn storybook that first inspired his love of adventure; Pip has begun following the mysteries of the forest wherever they lead. His first trek brought plentiful supplies, a narrowly avoided beehive, and a peaceful hilltop overlooking the surrounding wilderness, but his journey soon took a darker turn when he discovered a deep cave and fell into its shadowy depths.
