Adventure Log 1

There is nothing like the smell of pine trees and fresh air to start your adventure! Luckily, Mom told me about the perfect hilltop where I can see a good portion of the nearby landscape.

With my luck and keen nose, I managed to find quite a bit of foragable and fresh water. Mom taught me the forest has everything you need if you know where to look.

It was a good thing I was looking too... I almost ran right into a low beehive. I don't think they would have been too happy about headbutting their home.

Once I got to the top of the hill, the serene view was too breathtaking not to sit and rest for awhile. I found myself dozing off quite a few times while looking at the clouds.

As I made my way back down the large hill, I managed to stumble upon a cave. It much further back then I would have thought. As I descended further, the sunlight slowly started to die behind me.

However, before my eyes could adjust to the growing darkness, my next step met air, and I felt myself tilt forward. That uneasy feeling dropping low in my stomach, and the dread of not knowing just how far I was about to fall, or the sudden stop at the end.
