Review
This book started as something very hard to read. If you don't do well with trauma, Grief, war, torture, rape, and other very dark topics, then this is not the book for you. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful story. It feels human. However, it touches more on the darker aspects of humanity. There are brief windows of good, but the majority of the book will leave you feeling as if you have lost a part of yourself, or maybe found it? We all grieve, we all have experienced loss in some degree. This touches a lot on the topics we struggle with as human beings. However, it also touches on the ability to overcome them at all odds. It is a beautiful story, with a string of dark romance.
