Overview
Minecraft is a sandbox game that gives players the freedom to explore, build, and survive in a procedurally generated world made entirely of blocks. Review
Minecraft is one of those classic games that I grew up with as a teenager. I remember playing it with my dad growing up. I played a lot of Minecraft over the years, and always enjoyed the freedom to create and explore, and that so many different people could play it. That in a way it had something for everyone.
Now as a 33 year old adult I love playing with my kids and making memories with them, but also I still love to create freely and explore. There is still so much I haven't done in the game, because I don't really feel rushed to. I've never 'completed' a game by defeating the end dragon, I've barely even explored the nether. If I never do, I don't think I will feel like I missed out on playing the game the 'right way'. I just love the ease of playing, the creativity, and the cozy vibes I get.
With the edition of modding you can add more features to the game, and really make it a world all your own. Though I personally don't like playing with too many mods, and the one's I do play with are for some visual changes, and things that make tedious stuff a bit less tedious. Overall, Minecraft is one of my favorite games, and I will probably play it till I'm old grey, or dead.
